Reviews and Ratings
Staying in the old part of the hotel allowed us to be close to my girlfriend's family in the Laguito building. While the room didn't showcase the hotel's signature colonial design, it was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The renovations somewhat masked the room's age but didn't entirely justify the price tag.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of surprises. While the room I got was not what I expected in terms of design, it was actually quite spacious and the bed was incredibly cozy. The staff members were extremely kind and accommodating, despite encountering a not-so-pleasant individual. The overall service was exceptional, going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience for me. While the room I stayed in was modern and comfortable, the hotel itself felt a bit outdated and not up to a 5-star standard. Despite not boasting the signature colonial design, my room in the Laguito building was spacious, and the bed provided a fantastic night's sleep.
The hotel offers clean, modern rooms with a classical touch and helpful staff, although access is only by housekeeping. The service is generally helpful and friendly, with assistance in hailing cabs provided. The location, while lacking in historical charm, boasts beautifully kept gardens with exotic animals. Dining options vary in quality, with some items like home-baked bread standing out. Overall, the hotel provides a mix of positive and negative aspects for its guests.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms weren't as clean as expected for a 4/5-star accommodation, but the convenience of being in the same building as my girlfriend's family was a plus. However, there was an issue with a leak through the ceiling that needs attention.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering beautiful ocean or lagoon views, especially on higher floors. However, the addition of two cots along with a double bed and a sofa bed made the room feel a bit cramped, despite our request to remove the sofa bed not being accommodated. The hotel's location was perfect for special occasions and provided a glimpse of nature with macaws and baby deer around. The dining experience was delightful, especially for vegans, offering a variety of Mediterranean dishes.
The hotel is ideally located, but some areas like the different building for rooms and cleanliness fall short. The service is outstanding, especially for non-Spanish speakers. Dining options vary in quality, and the facilities are decent.
This hotel has a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms feel old and moldy, some staff had an attitude issue which made my stay unpleasant. However, I appreciated the beautiful gardens. The room setup was outdated with a shower that couldn't decide on water temperature. Waiting time at the reception for room changes was excessively long, leaving me feeling ripped off for the price they charged.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were clean and spacious, there were issues with moisture leading to mold in the bathroom. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was convenient with easy access to a nearby public beach but distant from the historical center. The dining options were pricey and not worth the expense. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
